Professor of History
Prof. De-Valera N.Y.M. Botchway is Professor of History (Social and Cultural History of African and Diasporic African Peoples) at the Department of History and Diplomacy of University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana. He was the Head of Department when the Department was known as Department of History. He also supervises theses of African Studies for the Centre for African and International Studies, UCC.
